ECONOMIC CITIZENSHIP PROGRAMME

Dominica’s economic citizenship programme is the most affordable second citizenship in the world. For a minimum donation of US $100,000 to the government, or a minimum investment of US $200,000 in real estate, qualified applicants can acquire a second passport, and the quality of life they desire. All approved applicants acquire the same rights and privileges as that of a naturally born Dominican citizen. The programme is a value-added offering that confers second citizenship in the most secure, hassle-free, and cost effective manner, of any programme available.

Established in 1993, the economic citizenship programme is one of the oldest in the industry, and has never been flagged for any security threats. Since its inception it has undergone many changes but has never been terminated or suspended. Enjoy the peace of mind you deserve by obtaining a second citizenship through Silver Beach Resort and spa.

Wealth Protection

Dominica has no capital gains tax, global tax, or inheritance tax. Further, as long as citizens never earn income in Dominica, they will never be required to pay income taxes in Dominica.

Best Value for Money

Dominica’s citizenship programme offers the same benefits as other Caribbean programmes, but at a fraction of the cost. At a donation cost of US $100,000, or a minimum investment of US $200,000 in real estate, it is by far the most affordable citizenship programme in the world. Further, the programme allows for applicants to apply with multiple dependants on their application – children under age 28, and parents/grandparents over age 55.

Quick and Simple Process

Attaining Dominican citizenship is a simple, three-month process that never requires an applicant to reside in  Dominica, or ever visit Dominica. It also carries no interview or languages requirements, and does not require applicants to demonstrate any minimum net worth.

Safe and Secure

Funds invested into real estate projects in Dominica are kept in an Escrow account accessed only by the Government and the Developer. Funds released to the developer must be approved by the government for work actually completed. As such, the government ensures funds are not misused.

Allows Dual Citizenship

Dominica’s programme allows for multiple citizenships and does not at any time notify an applicant’s home country about his/her citizenship.

Right to Resell Investment

Investors in real estate can resell and recover their investment costs after three years, by selling their interest to individuals not seeking citizenship; or after five years to a prospective citizenship applicant.

Access to Quality Education

Dominicans are eligible for scholarships from Ross University School of Medicine – a renowned US offshore medical school owned by DeVry University, but based on the island. The School’s graduates are known for earning more residency positions than those from other schools world wide, and for scoring high on the US Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE).

CITIZENSHIP THROUGH REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT

Obtaining Dominican citizenship through investment in real estate is the preferred option to attaining the quality of life you desire. Investment in real estate, not only affords you freedom of movement to over 130 countries, wealth protection, and all the other benefits of a Dominica passport, it also provides you with a tangible asset, from which you can earn returns and increase your net worth.

Investment into real estate projects in Dominica starts at a minimum of US $200,000. However, all currently approved projects request a minimum investment of US $220,000. Investing in to real estate is usually accompanied by a schedule of government fees, all of which must be paid along with the investment amount to acquire citizenship.

GOVERNMENT FEES

Main Applicant $50,000
Spouse $20,000
Dependant under age 18 $20,000
Dependant over age 18 $50,000
Processing fee $3,000 per application
Certificate under naturalization fee $750 per person
Expedited passport fee $1,200 per person

PROCESS

Becoming a Dominican citizen is a safe and secure, three month process, which carries no residency, interview, or language requirements.

BENEFITS OF INVESTING IN REAL ESTATE

Investing in government approved real estate usually affords investors the right to:

  • Recover invested interests after three years
  • Receive annual returns on the investment
  • Reside in the property for a specified amount of time per year
  • Own a piece of prime real estate, whose value is likely to increase with time

EXIT STRATEGY

Applicants, who opt to become citizens by investing in real estate projects are allowed to resell their shares or titled units after three years to individuals not interested in acquiring citizenship through the programme. If an investor wishes to resell his/her option to an individual opting to use the same property to acquire citizenship, he/she must wait until the fifth anniversary of the grant of citizenship. Silver Beach Development is committed to using its network to assist investors in reselling their shares or units if they so desire.
